the slow weekend

waking up early and listening to the birds sing under our window,
eating fruit for breakfast and french toasts for lunch,
reading books on the couch under the warm sunlight,
making little stitches in old, forgotten projects,
dancing around, baking bread and taking naps with pixel.

this is the first weekend in two months that i didn't had to work at all
it feels good.
